The U.S. Small Business Administration is banning green card holders from accessing its loan program.
The move is effective March 1, according to an SBA policy note.
An agency spokesperson said in a statement to The Associated Press that the "SBA is ensuring that every taxpayer dollar entrusted to this agency goes to support U.S. job creators and innovators."
