The Walt Disney Co. board is close to naming theme park division Chair Josh D’Amaro as the company's next CEO, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg.
The board is expected to vote on a new leader in the coming week.
If approved, the 54-year-old D’Amaro would succeed Bob Iger, who led the company 2005-20 and returned in 2022.
