The Labor Department has delayed the release of the January jobs report due to the partial government shutdown.
The January report had been scheduled for release on Friday.
“Once funding is restored, BLS will resume normal operations and notify the public of any changes to the news release schedule," officials with the department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics said.
