Project description: The Wooten Co. is adding 48 units across two buildings at its Republic Palms complex. The three-story buildings are evenly split between one-bedroom units, at 900 square feet apiece, and three-bedroom units, at 1,300 square feet. “These are going to complement the other two bedroom units in the facility,” said project architect James O’Donnell. He said the estimated cost would approach $6 million, based on nearly $100 per square feet of construction. The complex’s 144 units are fully occupied, said Jessica Brechbuhler, a property manager with Wooten Co., via email. She said monthly lease rates range from $625 to $950.
