San Diego-based Qdoba Mexican Eats announced today that franchisee Burrito Concepts LLC is expected to open Nixa’s first Qdoba location sometime in April.
The Nixa Qdoba restaurant is to be located at 830 W. Mt. Vernon St, according to a news release, comprising 1,750 square feet of space and offering seating indoors and outdoors for up to 44 guests. A spokesperson for Qdoba confirmed Burrito Concepts LLC is owned by Michael Ghirardelli, who currently owns 14 Qdoba restaurant locations.
Startup and leasing costs were undisclosed in the release. Christian County assessor records show the Mt. Vernon Street building where the Qdoba is set to operate is owned by West Side Plaza Nixa LLC. That company was organized July 18, 2025, according to Missouri secretary of state records.
Nixa’s Qdoba location will employ roughly 20 staffers and is expected to be open seven days per week from 10:30 a.m.-10:30 p.m., according to the release.
Qdoba’s website shows four existing Qdoba locations in the Springfield area, located at 4127 S. Kansas Expressway, Ste. 104; 401 S. Kimbrough Ave., Ste. 100; 900 E. Battlefield Road, Ste. 164; and 2631 E. Sunshine St. The company also has one store location in Branson and another in Joplin.
Qdoba has 873 store locations worldwide, according to its website, 40 of which are located in Missouri.
Personalized wellness services such as oxygen training and nutritional therapy are among options offered at Renewed Health 417 in Nixa.
