Pinnacle Design Consultants is the civil and structural engineer for Mountain View-Birch Tree R-III School District’s middle school. Olsson Associates Inc. is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer, Jack Ball Architects PC is the architect, and Springfield Builders Inc. is the general contractor. The school will house students in sixth through eighth grades, with a dedicated science room and classrooms on each wing. There will be a separate entrance for the superintendent’s office. At roughly $6.03 million, the project came in at $1 million under budget. Cost-saving measures included switching to concrete parking lots and drives.
