Sam Kahre was promoted to service manager for agricultural products at S&H Farm Supply. Previously, Kahre worked as a technician specializing in hay equipment, tractor and industrial repairs. He has a degree in diesel mechanics from Ozarks Technical Community College.

S&H Farm Supply hired John Brauer as technician for small engines and lawn equipment and Tom Bowen as baler, tractor and industrial technician.

Banking
Lori Shaklee was promoted to vice president/human resources officer at Metropolitan National Bank, where she has worked since 2007. Shaklee has 10 years of human resource experience.

Dawn Hugo was promoted to vice president of retail sales and administration officer at Metropolitan National Bank. Hugo has six years of sales experience.

Communication
Regina Waters was named Member of the Year by the Springfield Professional Chapter of the Association for Women in Communications. Waters, an associate professor of communications at Drury University, is program committee chairwoman for the organization and a faculty adviser for Drury’s student chapter.

Education
Chrystal Irons joined the University of Missouri Extension in southwest Missouri as business development specialist. Irons previously worked as an accountant for a Springfield firm and currently co-owns two lawn care businesses in Nixa with her husband.

Drury University online instructor Ruth Schafer received the Educator of the Year award from the Missouri Distance Learning Association at its annual conference held at the University Plaza. Schafer, an adjunct instructor in the English department, teaches composition to freshmen.

Engineering
Environmental Works Inc. hired Andrea Pence as controller and Emily Crites as environmental engineer. Pence has 16 years of experience in accounting, most recently as division controller for Jack Henry & Associates. She has a bachelor’s in business administration from Drury and an MBA from Webster University. Crites has six years of experience as an environmental, health and safety engineer. She earned a bachelor’s in chemical engineering from University of Missouri-Rolla.

Finance
Guaranty Bank promoted Cammi D. Coleman to residential lender and John Sims to residential lending specialist. Tessa Grayson was hired as residential coordinator.

Renee Gross joined Central Trust & Investment Co. as senior portfolio manager. Most recently, Gross was senior portfolio manager at U.S. Bank.

Health Care
The American College of Radiology awarded Skaggs Regional Medical Center’s Radiology Services a three-year term of accreditation in MRI and CT scan.

Dr. Manuel Salinas joined St. John’s Clinic-Family Medicine. Salinas is board-certified in family practice. Dr. Troy Caron joined St. John’s Clinic-Orthopedic Specialists. Caron’s memberships include the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Brenton Coger joined St. John’s Clinic - Neurosurgery. Coger is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, AO Spine and the American Academy of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Christine Mitchell joined St. John’s Clinic-Pathology. Mitchell’s memberships include the College of American Pathologists and the American Society of Clinical Pathology. Dr. Bala Allam joined St. John’s Clinic-Hospitalists. Allam completed his residency at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, after finishing medical school in India. Dr. Kody Finstad joined St. John’s Clinic-Nixa-Pediatrics. Finstad is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. William Burch joined the Springfield branch of the ADC Dental Group. Burch, who previously owned a practice in Neosho for 30 years before selling it in 2008, has more than 10 years of experience with computer-aided dentistry.

Kathy Deckard
joined Jordan Valley Community Health Center-Marshfield as clinic manager. Deckard, a registered nurse with experience at St. John’s Hospital, previously worked as director of health services for the Marshfield R-I School District for 16 years.

Hospitality
Michael McGreevy was hired as food and beverage director at Chateau on the Lake Resort, Spa and Convention Center. Most recently, McGreevy was food and beverage director/conference services manager at the Northland Inn and Executive Conference Center in Minneapolis.

Marketing
The marketing department at Citizens Memorial Healthcare received six 2010 Strategic Marketing Awards from McMurry Inc. Four were first place awards: Best Overall Healthcare Publication, CustomPlus Category; Best Feature Story, Long Version; Most Effective CEO Letter; and Most Effective Consumer Call to Action.

Nonprofit
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks promoted Katie Davis to assistant director, in which she manages the Branson and Joplin affiliate offices and special projects. Davis has worked at Big Brothers Big Sisters since 2006, most recently as special events coordinator.

Branson performer and resident Tony Orlando was re-elected as national vice president for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. He will provide volunteer assistance and will again host the local Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon broadcast in New York.[[In-content Ad]]
