Summer 2025 Architects & Engineers Project Report

Is it just me, or are a lot of construction projects popping up all around? I feel like I look in one direction one day and see nothing but dirt, but then the next day a framework stands against the sky, hinting at the shape of the building to come. This report offers a look at 28 projects by local design professionals, as near as our own Greene County Courthouse expansion and as distant as a multifamily project in Oxford, Mississippi. It’s a neat opportunity to take a peek inside design portfolios – plus, when someone says, “I wonder what’s going up over there?” we’ll be able to tell them. —Karen Craigo, reporter
