Terracon Consultants Inc.
Terracon Consultants Inc. is the geotechnical engineer for a 24,000-square-foot proposed addition at Ash Grove Elementary School. The $8.4 million project includes six classrooms, a safe room/gymnasium and support spaces, as well as lower-level storage for track equipment. Officials say the safe room would hold all Ash Grove students and staff and house a high school-sized basketball court and volleyball court. The design includes a new courtyard, providing the district space for outdoor classrooms. The project was designed by Paragon Architecture LLC, with engineering work by Toth and Associates Inc., civil and structural; and Interpres Building Solutions LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. A general contractor and completion date will be determined pending approval of a bond issue going before voters in April.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
