April 7 was the official opening day for Mexican-Italian fusion restaurant Show Me Chuy after a soft launch that started March 31; marketing agency AdZen debuted; and the Almighty Sando Shop opened a brick-and-mortar space.
If it were made easier to recycle many of us who would like to but don't would do so voluntarily.
I've gone back and forth over this through the years and I've come to the conclusion that recycling SOME things is just too costly. We should be recycling plastics and aluminum. Aluminum is extremely expensive and energy-demanding to extract from bauxite ore and plastic is major pollutant. We should have centers dedicated to the collection of these materials in major shopping areas where they can be shipped to recycling centers. Collecting at homes is wasteful. It burns a lot of fuel and and is not efficient. We shouldn't worry about recycling glass or paper. Glass and paper break down over tiime.
I would like to see this poll redone. A requirement is not the best way to go about it, but if we had better/more convenient ways to recycle, I believe a lot more people would be interested in particpating.
