Pregnancy Care Center's CEO for the last decade is exiting the leadership role.
Lisa McIntire intends to leave the position over the next 60 days, according to a news release issued this morning. A certified public accountant who previously worked at what's now Forvis Mazars LLP, McIntire joined PCC in 2016.
“Lisa has led our organization with integrity, vision and a heart for the people we serve,” said Joyce Diltz, PCC board chair, in the release. “We are grateful for her dedication and the many ways she helped position PCC for continued impact. She will be missed, and we wish her all the best.”
A reason was not given for McIntire's exit, and officials with the nonprofit did not provide details by deadline.
McIntire is credited in the release with leading the PCC to strengthen its programs and expand its community partnership.
“Serving PCC has been one of the greatest honors of my life,” McIntire said in the release. “I am deeply humbled by what our community has enabled the PCC team to accomplish together. I have every confidence that PCC’s mission will move forward strong and healthy."
The PCC board is currently working to establish interim leadership as it begins a search process for its next CEO.
Since opening in 2000, PCC has served over 225,000 young people with healthy pregnancy and relationship education services, according to its website.
