A nearly 17-year employee of BKD LLP has taken over for the founding CEO of Pregnancy Care Center, the nonprofit announced in a news release yesterday.
Certified Public Accountant Lisa McIntire most recently led BKD’s health care consulting team as senior managing consultant. During that time, she helped grow the division to over $3 million in revenue, according to her LinkedIn profile.
At PCC, McIntire succeeds Cindi Boston, who held the job for 15 years before starting in January as vice president of Columbus, Ohio-based Heartbeat International. Ronn Ramey, PCC’s chief operations officer, served in the interim.
McIntire, who’s also a former accountant at Mercy, leads a crew of 22 who offer services including free pregnancy testing, limited ultrasound services and information on pregnancy options at 1342 E. Primrose St.
The change in leadership was originally announced at Pregnancy Care Center’s annual banquet in April, according to the organization’s website.
