PayPal to buy Japanese firm Paidy for $2.7B

PayPal signed on to buy Japanese company Paidy for $2.7 billion.

Paidy allows users to buy products now and pay later.

Similarly, Square last month agreed to purchase Australian buy-now, pay-later company Afterpay for $29 billion.
