Oracle is planning to cut up to 3,000 jobs in India, according to media reports.
The cuts are part of a broader effort that involves, in part, the adoption and deployment of AI technologies.
Oracle's headcount dropped by 21,000 employees for the fiscal year ended May 31. That left the company with approximately 141,000 employees.
