Springfield-based OMB Bank has expanded its footprint in the Kansas City metro area after entering the market in 2023.
The company opened a branch in Prairie Village, Kansas, on Aug. 1, according to a news release issued last week. It's OMB Bank's 10th systemwide branch.
“Our expansion into Prairie Village is another step forward in OMB’s mission to serve the greater Kansas City community with the same personalized service and innovative banking solutions that have fueled our growth the past 26 years,” said Mark Harrington, OMB Bank president and CEO, in the release. "This branch strengthens our ability to partner with local businesses and individuals, and we’re excited to help drive the economic vitality of this vibrant community."
The 2,243-square-foot leased building is located at 7500 State Line Road in Prairie Village, which is located just west of Missouri's border with Kansas.
OMB Bank first entered the Kansas City market in 2023 with a loan production office in Lenexa, Kansas, and it was converted to a full-service branch later that year, according to past reporting.
