Six months after entering the Kansas City market, Springfield-based OMB Bank has converted its loan production office in the area to a full-service branch.
The company's Lenexa, Kansas, office became a retail and commercial bank on Dec. 20 after the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. approved the branch application in late October, according to a news release. The loan production office opened in June 2023 under the direction of industry veteran Doug Parker.
“The transformation of our loan production office in Lenexa into a retail banking branch is a true milestone moment for OMB’s growth and expansion efforts," President and CEO Mark Harrington said in the release. "This strategic move reflects our unwavering commitment to providing a better banking experience for our valued customers in Lenexa and the greater Kansas City area."
The Kansas branch, located at 8801 Renner Blvd., Ste. 401, in the mixed-use Lenexa City Center, is staffed by seven employees.
OMB Bank’s website lists nine branches and one lending center.
