Butterfly Boardroom

Ransin Injury Law owner David Ransin chose to move his office to the edge of town, surrounded by farmland and quiet suburban neighborhoods. Deer and other wildlife frequent the lower-level boardroom windows. The landscaping is seeded with wildflowers and other native prairie plants that will attract butterflies and hummingbirds in the coming years. “Our goal for the building was that we wanted it to blend our interest with the environment and ecology, yet project professionalism and strength,” Ransin says.

Natural Immersion

The shared headquarters of Ransin Injury Law and O’Reilly Hospitality Management LLC is a collaborative effort, which took two-and-a-half years to complete – following careful planning and a contested zoning battle. But the hard work has paid off, and those involved were named Design Team of the Year in 2017 by the Salute to Design & Construction Council.
