The operators of a planned Rountree restaurant at the former Elle’s Patisserie LLC yesterday unveiled the name of the venture.
It’s Team Taco LLC.
Springfield Business Journal first reported earlier this month that the 1454 E. Cherry St. property transferred to Cherry Street United LLC, organized by Robert Sonnemaker, from the Joyce A. Feldman Trust. Elle Feldman closed Elle’s Patisserie in January and put the purple-painted property up for sale at $200,000.
Sonnemaker also is listed in Missouri secretary of state records as the organizer behind Team Taco, as well as Social on Patton at 314 S. Patton Ave.
Social General Manager Doug Riddle, who’s involved in the Team Taco venture, this morning declined to estimate an opening date for the Cherry Street restaurant. Team Taco’s website advertises a pop-up event on June 30 at the neighboring Tie & Timber Beer Co. LLC. Team Taco’s Facebook page appears to have been launched yesterday.
Springfield Building Development Services does not list any building permits for the Cherry Street address.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
