Meta is moving 7,000 workers into roles focused on artificial intelligence, according to a memo viewed by Bloomberg.
Chief People Officer Janelle Gale said in the memo that the new corporate structure will be “flatter” and mean “smaller teams."
Meta previously informed staff that roughly 8,000 people would be laid off this week.

The new Bingham Elementary School, along with plans to renovate and increase the size of Bissett Elementary, wasn’t part of the original list of projects encompassed by Proposition S, a $220 million bond issue by Springfield Public Schools approved by city voters in April 2023.
