The fourth Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care center in Springfield is up and running.

The clinic opened for business this morning at a new multitenant retail center at the intersection of Campbell Avenue and Sunshine Street, kitty-corner from Bass Pro Shops and Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium, according to a news release.

At 303 W. Sunshine St., the urgent care center treats adults and children with such illnesses and injuries as flu, fever, allergies, cuts, burns, and sprains and strains. It also has on-site X-ray and laboratory services.

Mercy partners on the clinics with Atlanta-based GoHealth Urgent Care, an affiliate of Access Clinical Partners LLC.

Mercy’s third co-branded urgent care center opened in February 2019 at 3233 E. Sunshine St., Ste. 100, in Sidewalk Plaza, following the launch of clinics at 900 E. Battlefield Road in Battlefield Market Place and 2150 W. Republic Road in Magers Crossing, according to past Springfield Business Journal reporting.

The latest clinic is located in a 7,500-square-foot shopping center developed by East Sunshine Property Group LLC. Other tenants on board for the center include AT&T and Missouri Title Loans Inc. The development also calls for a separate 3,500-square-foot building that’s slated for a Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers restaurant, according to past reporting.
