Swedish clothing retailer H&M on Thursday announced company veteran Helena Helmersson was appointed as CEO.
She succeeds Karl-Johan Persson, the company founder's grandson who's moving to the role of chairman. Helmersson's roles have included chief operating officer and head of sustainability.
H&M also announced yesterday plans to enter Springfield with a store at Battlefield Mall.
