Eustasis Psychiatric & Addiction Health is adding a new clinic with the acquisition of a building on the south side of town.

The Springfield-based mental health service provider purchased the building at 1505 E. Bradford Parkway, according to statement provided to Springfield Business Journal by CEO A. Breanna Jain. The property currently is occupied by Parmele Law Firm PC, which is relocating.

"We are thrilled to be opening this fifth location and streamlining our outpatient services as we have had incredible growth in the last few years that has increased our need for space and our growing patient population," Jain said in the statement. "Mental health is now, more than ever, requiring prompt intervention, and Eustasis is committed to seeing psychiatric and addiction care be provided in an expeditious manner."

Through Eustasis Developments LLC, the company purchased the more than 11,000-square-foot Bradford Parkway building for roughly $1.7 million, Jain said via email.

She said the building gives the company additional clinic space for outpatient services in both psychology and psychiatry.

"We want to focus on enhancing our traditional outpatient services and putting together new programs we feel are much needed in this area," she said.

The clinic is expected to open at the end of February, Jain said, noting the company is creating 35 jobs as part of the expansion. The new jobs include support staff, nurses, counselors, medical back-office personnel, doctors and advanced care providers.

Currently, Eustasis has two Springfield locations along South National Avenue, along with one each in Ozark and Rogers, Arkansas, according to its website. Along with the new clinic, all three Springfield locations are less than 1.5 miles from each other in the Medical Mile area.

Around a year ago, Eustasis' Ozark clinic opened at 5548 N. Farmer Branch Road, near the U.S. Highway 65 interchange and James River Church, according to past reporting.
