Curb Appeal: High-dollar listings seek nearly $12M

After May saw the largest amount of high-dollar listings so far this year, June figures in Springfield were down slightly, according to Southern Missouri Regional MLS data.

For the monthly editorial series Curb Appeal, Springfield Business Journal compiled a list of single-family homes listed last month within city limits with an asking price of $500,000 or more.

In June, 17 properties made the list, compared with 22 in May and 10 in April.

The residences listed last month have combined asking prices of roughly $11.9 million, according to the MLS. A property listed for $1.3 million, the highest price last month, includes 71 acres and a cave system.
