Following its merger with Southwest Missouri Realty this fall, Murney Associates, Realtors has added another residential real estate firm to the mix.
Coldwell Banker Lewis & Associates has joined Murney Associates, Realtors, according to a Dec. 8 news release. Jeff Parker, broker at Murney Associates, Realtors, classified the agreement with Coldwell Banker Lewis & Associates as a merger.
"This partnership represents growth, strength and a shared commitment to serving our community,” said Twila Hillme, broker at Murney Associates, Realtors, in the release.
The release indicates more than 30 real estate agents have joined Murney Associates, Realtors from both Southwest Missouri Realty and Coldwell Banker Lewis & Associates. Parker said around 15 of those are from Coldwell Banker Lewis & Associates.
Real estate agent Michelle Lewis formed Coldwell Banker Lewis & Associates in 2020, about a year after the Coldwell Banker brand exited the market, according to past Springfield Business Journal reporting. The national brand previously operated locally through Springfield-area affiliate Coldwell Banker Vanguard.
Lewis is among the real estate agents joining Murney Associates, Realtors from Coldwell Banker Lewis & Associates, Parker said.
Past reporting indicates Southwest Missouri Realty merged into Murney Associates, Realtors on Oct. 10 for undisclosed terms.
Murney Associates, Realtors ranked No. 1 on Springfield Business Journal’s 2025 list of the area’s largest residential real estate firms. Murney reported gross residential sales in 2024 of $1.4 billion, with total residential transactions that year of 4,256.
Coldwell Banker Lewis & Associates brings roughly $17 million in sales to Murney Associates, Realtors, said Parker.
