Burrell Behavioral Health has scheduled the opening date for its new $2 million clinic in Marshfield following a groundbreaking for the facility in late 2023.

June 16 is set as the first day for patients at the 5,210-square-foot behavioral health clinic at 1069 Banning St., according to a news release. The facility replaces another clinic in Marshfield at 1350 Spur Dr., Ste. 230, where Burrell has operated for more than a decade.

“This clinic speaks to Burrell Behavioral Health’s continued commitment to providing quality care and addressing challenges in Webster County and other rural communities in southwest Missouri,” said Clay Goddard, southwest region president of Brightli Inc., Burrell’s parent company, in the release. "We’re excited to be able to meet people in Marshfield where they are."

Storee Construction Co. served as general contractor for the project designed by Hood-Rich Inc. Burrell broke ground on the clinic in October 2023, according to past reporting.

The new location, located near Interstate 44, will offer a range of services that includes addiction recovery, outpatient care and psychiatry.

A month prior to the Marshfield clinic's groundbreaking in 2023, Burrell broke ground on a $14 million Youth Resiliency Campus in Springfield, with planned offerings including a Youth Behavioral Crisis Center for ages 13-17.

The roughly 27,500-square-foot project at 2748 N. National Ave. has an estimated December completion date, according to past reporting. The general contractor is Storee Construction Co., with project architect Hood-Rich and landscape architect frankZdesign LLC among companies working on the development.
