Beyond Healing Center, an outpatient therapy practice, has added psychiatry services in a downtown Springfield building.
Beyond Healing Psychiatry operates at 323 S. Patton Alley, said CEO Ryan Savage. The organization entered a two-year lease for the 1,400-square-foot space for undisclosed terms, Savage said, noting the lease took effect in May.
Savage said the building is largely used by the new psychiatry practice, though some therapists also see clients there.
"Since we opened our doors in 2019, our work has been built on one belief, that mental health care should treat the whole person, not just a list of symptoms," Savage said in a news release. "We kept hearing the same thing from clients and from the therapists who refer to us. People need access to high-quality psychiatric care that actually fits into their lives and coordinates with the rest of their care. Beyond Healing Psychiatry is our answer to that need."
The psychiatry practice is in-network with Aetna, Optum and Cigna. Brandon Finley is the provider of psychiatric services.
Beyond Healing Center serves more than 750 clients monthly with a team of 23 professional counselors, according to the release.
A trio of brothers own Southway Storage LLC, which opened Oct. 7 and has 289 units to serve customers in Ozark, Nixa, Springfield and elsewhere in southwest Missouri.
