Bass Pro Shops is continuing to build its footprint in Texas with a newly announced store.
The Springfield-based outdoor retailer is bringing its Outpost store concept to Tyler, Texas, which is nearly 100 miles east of Dallas, according to a news release.
Bass Pro recently announced Texas stores in Grand Prairie, Spring and Odessa, and combined with the Tyler location, the company would have 18 locations in the state.
“Texas has been so good to us, and we’re honored to have the opportunity to serve the great sportsmen and women throughout the state," Bass Pro founder Johnny Morris said in the release.
The store in Tyler is slated to be located at Market Square Boulevard near the Village at Cumberland Park, according to the release. An opening is expected in the first half of 2025.
