Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg will not appear before a panel of British lawmakers related to the Cambridge Analytica scandal.
Instead, he'll send Chief Technology Officer Mike Schroepfer or Chief Product Officer Chris Cox to speak before the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport committee, according to a leter sent by the social network that was observed by Reuters.
The committee had asked for Zuckerberg or someone senior from Facebook to appear.
