Facebook is working to eliminate fake news and hoaxes that appear on news feeds, according to CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
Critics have suggested the fake news making its way through the social media network may have influenced the 2016 presidential election.
While Zuckerberg has said it's "extremely unlikely" that phony stories posted on Facebook changed the election outcome, the company already is working to enable the social media giant's users "to flag fake news and hoaxes."
