Facebook put out advertisements in multiple U.S. and U.K. newspapers Sunday.
In them, CEO Mark Zuckerberg apologizes for the Cambridge Analytica scandal in which the information of 50 million people was breached.
"This was a breach of trust, and I'm sorry we didn't do more at the time. We're now taking steps to make sure this doesn't happen again," the ads, signed by Zuckerberg, say.
