Online real estate search service Zillow has updated its algorithm to more accurately estimate the price of homes on the site. It’s called a neural network and it employs artificial intelligence that officials say will reduce price estimate errors by 11.5% for off-market homes in nearly 30 U.S. regions, according to Wired.
Zillow previously determined home values using nearly 1,000 variations of algorithms derived for local markets.
