YRC rolls out new tractors, safety programs for 2015

YRC Worldwide Inc. is revamping its vehicle fleet in 2015 by adding new tractors and trailers as well as safety features to its current fleet.

The Overland Park, Kan.-based truckload carrier (Nasdaq: YRCW) announced plans to release 600 new tractors and over 2,000 new trailers, according to the Kansas City Business Journal.

The company also is adding in-cab safety features to prevent accidents.
