YRC opens 2015 with a net loss

YRC Worldwide Inc. opened 2015 with a net loss, its first since the second quarter of 2014.

The Overland Park, Kan.-based trucking company (Nasdaq: YRCW) posted a net loss of $21.6 million, compared to a loss of $70.2 million in first-quarter 2014, according to the Kansas City Business Journal.

Revenue dropped slightly to $1.2 billion.
