YRC Freight president exits post

Jeff Rogers, president of Overland Park, Kan.-based YRC Freight, has exited host post, according to the Kansas City Business Journal.

Parent company CEO James Welch of YRC Worldwide Inc. will assume the YRC Freight president's role in addition to his current responsibilities.

Welch said the freight company, which produced a disappointing second quarter ,needed a well equipped leadership team moving forward.
