YouTube ordered to pay more for music by Europe

A reform of European copyright laws would require video sites such as YouTube to pay more to musicians and record companies.

The planned reforms also call on publishers and producers to let performers or authors know how much in profits their works have generated.

The European Commission has not yet detailed how sites like YouTube would be forced to pay more to artists.
