Eleven Springfield fifth-graders competed in Junior Achievement’s version of Donald Trump’s board-room reality show “The Apprentice” on Aug. 16. After getting sales strategy tips at a board meeting at the Tower Club, the students were split into two teams and competed to sell the most hot dogs, sodas, chips and ice cream at Lowe’s Home Improvement on East Primrose. Following the event, which raised nearly $8,000 for Junior Achievement, students were recognized at the evening’s Springfield Cardinals game.[[In-content Ad]]
