Go ahead, lose your remote control to your Samsung TV. Just don't lose your temper.
Samsung's SmartTVs offer voice recognition so that viewers can simply tell the TV what they want to watch and not have to fish around for that always-elusive remote. Now, Samsung is cautioning SmartTV owners they might want to keep their conversations focused on TV shows, to keep their TVs from relaying everything they say to the third-party vendor that translates voice to text, according to CNNMoney.
You can turn off the voice recognition option but the TV will still capture any pre-programmed command words, which Samsung says is needed data used for tweaking the SmartTVs responses.
