Your car is a giant computer and can be hacked

Here's another argument for hanging on to that last-century clunker car: Hackers can't grab control away from you while you're driving it.
 
CNNMoney reports most aren't aware high-tech, increasingly connected cars are tempting targets for hackers. Hundreds of tiny computers control the car's operations and, according to security researcher Joe Klein, were "never meant to be connected to anything."
 
Outdated, easily manipulated computer codes already can allow access to all of the car's controls by breaching its Internet-connected systems. Malware attacking cars through dashboard apps is also a growing concern.
