A member of the National Association of Life Underwriters and a 1994 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, Angell holds a bachelor's degree in business administration, with emphasis in human resource management, and is an associate financial planner working toward his certified financial planner designation. Angell worked two years at the Lake St. Louis Agency as a account representative, where he was named the agency's No. 1 associate. He transferred to MetLife's Ozark Mountain Agency in March 1997 to become associate general manager. Angell provides training to all of the agency's new associates on products and sales skills. He also teaches classes for new associates to help them achieve the chartered life underwriter designation and the Life Underwriters Training Council fellowship. Angell does joint field work with each new associate for his or her first two years in the business. "What I consider to be my greatest accomplishment to date is going to Management Leaders Conference my first year in management. To qualify, our office had to be in the top 20 percent of all MetLife offices in the nation."
