Sambuca, a hilltop town based in the Southern Italy island of Sicily, is selling homes for about $1 apiece.
The catch? Buyers must invest at least $17,000 in the dilapidated homes that range from 430 to 1,600 square feet.
The city-owned homes are up for sale in hopes of revitalizing a community that's lost residents to larger cities.
