Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen predicted 2022 would see a return to full employment in the United States.
She said the $1.9 trillion stimulus bill signed by President Joe Biden last week was a step toward recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I’m hopeful that if we beat the pandemic, we can have the economy back near full employment next year, and I think this is the package we need to do that," she said.
