The Senate Finance Committee gave unanimous approval Friday to Janet Yellen’s nomination for Treasury secretary.
If approved by the full Senate, Yellen would begin working with Congress to advance President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion stimulus package.
The Senate vote could come as soon as today for Yellen, the former chair of the Federal Reserve.
