The New York Yankees agreed to buy back the YES Network for $3.5 billion.
Fox bought a minority stake in YES in 2012 and increased its stake to 80 percent in 2014.
The Yankees reportedly worked with Amazon and Sinclair Broadcast Group, as well as investors RedBird Capital, Blackstone, Mubadala and Michael Dell fund, to purchase the regional sports network.
