Yanfeng International Automotive Technology Co. Ltd. plans to close its operation in Riverside, north of Kansas City.
The closure will mean 444 layoffs.
The decision by Yanfeng, which supplies parts to General Motors Co., comes after GM announced its Fairfax plant in Kansas City, Kansas, would temporarily close to later build Chevrolet Bolt electric vehicles.
