Yahoo officials aren't sure whether Verizon will go through with its planned $4.8 billion buyout of the company.
A U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing on Wednesday stated "there is no assurance" the deal will be "consummated in a timely manner or at all."
The buyout has been in doubt since September, when Yahoo announced half a billion user accounts had been breached two years earlier.
