Verizon, parent company of Yahoo, revealed the internet company's 2013 breach was much worse than originally reported.
Verizon officials said the Yahoo hack hit 3 billion accounts, up from the roughly 1 billion Yahoo reported last year.
The reveal cements Yahoo at the top of the list of massive security breaches, ahead of Myspace and Equifax.
