Yahoo is launching its first branded smartphone, according to an announcement from parent company Verizon.
The $50 purple phone has an 8-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera and 32 gigabytes of storage.
Yahoo also is preloading the phones with Yahoo Mail, News, Sports, Finance and Weather, among other apps.
