Yahoo eying Snapchat after Alibaba windfall

Seeking to replicate the success of its investment in Alibaba, Yahoo is reportedly looking to sink $20 million into photo messaging company Snapchat.

The deal would value the company at $10 billion, according to CNNMoney.

Yahoo's bet on Alibaba paid off big. It provided a massive windfall of around $5 billion (after taxes) from the Chinese conglomerate's IPO.

Snapchat previously rejected a buyout bid from Facebook.
