Representatives of state and federal organizations will address the year 2000 issue as it affects the Ozarks during a Town Hall Meeting at 7 p.m. June 1 at the Branson Community Center on Compton Drive.

The meeting, sponsored by Hometown Radio, will air live on KOMC, 100.1 FM in Branson, according to a news release from Hometown Radio.

"This issue potentially affects each of us. This forum will discuss the impact of Y2K in Stone and Taney counties," said Rod Orr, station general manager and meeting moderator.

The forum features a panel of experts and will open with a brief discussion about the issue.

Questions will be taken from the floor, and listeners may also call in with questions. Orr predicts the meeting will run about two hours.
