Irish regulators have ordered X to pay $600,000 to a former employee who worked at Twitter's European headquarters in Dublin.
The employee, Gary Rooney, alleges he did not intend to resign by not clicking "yes" in response to an email from Elon Musk demanding an "extremely hardcore" work culture. Rooney said he mistook the email as malware.
Irish regulators said Rooney's exit from the company amounts to unfair dismissal.
